Retrofittable Optics

A revolution for LED retrofit lamps!

While our LED retrofit lamps have already been among the most efficient products of their kind since their introduction to the market in 2010, Helecta now offers another quantum leap as regards efficiency and potential use.

Thanks to the new retrofittable optics, our lamps are optimised for use in mushroom and bell-shaped luminaires. The entire luminous flux of the lamp is now directed to the road, square or pavement in a targeted manner. Light that was previously lost is utilised and allows lower output LED lamps to be used, yet identical or better luminance on the ground to be achieved. In this way further energy savings of up to 50% are possible – and that at extremely low costs and without any risk of failure!

For new installations, the improved light control also allows for larger mast distances, which again reduces the installation costs significantly.

Our optics are designed especially for the requirements of our LED retrofit lamps, which must satisfy the harsh daily requirements of professional and public lighting environments. The PMMA base material from a German manufacturer is specially suited for optical use and ensures low losses and a long life without yellowing.

The optics are available for new customers, but easy, quick and tool-free retrofitting is also possible for our existing customers.
